Maristhill in the Community

Maristhill is a proud member of the greater Waltham community. We participate in a wide range of supportive activities.

A focus of our mission is to Collaborate and Interact with other organizations to address mutual needs and share resources. For example, we have a “perpetual” basket in our lobby in support of the Sacred Heart Church Food Pantry; we have donated an Exercycle to the Leland Home, and recently held a fundraiser that enabled us to purchase and donate 50 backpacks to the Prospect Hill Community Center after-school mentoring program. We also have formed a strategic partnership withRegis College, a private Roman Catholic university located in Weston, Mass.

In addition, our annual Maristhill Marketplace has become a local favorite! Residents, families, friends, and colleagues enjoy the community spirit and camaraderie that this annual fundraiser generates. Many of the items offered are proudly crafted by our residents, who enjoy both the activity and the associated good spirit of giving. The proceeds go directly to the Resident Council Fund, a good cause that sponsors numerous special events, programs, and outings throughout the year for all of our residents.
