VISITATION GUIDELINES
EFFECTIVE 5/4/2021
In-Room Visitation is Sunday-Saturday 11 AM to 5 PM.
- Fully vaccinated residents and visitors may have in-room visits with masks at all times.
- Length of visits should be 45 minutes to 1 hour. Contact the front desk to schedule your visit.
- Limit of 5 families per floor on the Banks and Charles Units during each visiting period.
- No more than 2 visitors per resident each visit.
- Visitors must go to the resident room and not wander the resident care areas.
- If the visitor has a care question, please contact the nurse on the unit by phone to discuss any concerns.
- Do not bring in food from the community unless approval is obtained from the DON or ADON.
- Protective Personal Equipment can be provided to the visitor if needed.
Indoor Visits is Sunday-Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM.
- Unvaccinated visitors may schedule a visit for the front lobby by contacting the front desk staff. Masks are to be always worn. Social distancing must be maintained.
- Length of visits should be 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- No more than 2 visitors per resident each visit.
- Do not bring in food from the community unless approval is obtained from the DON or ADON.
- Protective Personal Equipment can be provided to the visitor if needed.
Quarantine Unit is Sunday-Saturday 11 AM to 5 PM.
- The Quarantine period for new residents is 14 days with no signs or symptoms of Covid-19. A Covid-19 test will be given on admission and routinely during the quarantine period.
- Quarantine of the resident is needed to prevent the transmission of Covid-19. This monitoring is necessary to reduce the risk to others and themselves. CDC recommends alternate methods of visitation, such as Zoom or Face Time.

- Unvaccinated residents or visitors will be scheduled on a case by case basis as determined by the DON and ADON during the quarantine period.
Compassionate Visits (including End of Life)
- Arranged on a case by case basis by the DON, ADON and Social Services Department.
- Masks are needed through the entire visit by the resident and visitor.
- Visitors must remain in the resident room during the visit. Utilize the call bell system for any needs for the resident.
